Meet The Team

Founder & CEO
Jennifer Anderson, MA, LCDC, TF-CBT
Jennifer DeLeon Anderson, MA, LCDC, leads Janie’s Place Mental Health Primary Home with a compassionate, person-centered clinical approach. Her work focuses on providing therapeutic housing solutions for women living with complex mental health conditions, co-occurring disorders, and life circumstances that require a structured and supportive environment for stabilization and healing.
Jennifer earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Dallas. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Studies with a minor in Addiction Studies from the University of North Texas. Her academic training, combined with lived experience and years of work in the recovery field, informs a clinical philosophy grounded in empathy, accountability, and respect for each person’s individual story.
Jennifer believes each woman arrives with a unique history shaped by trauma, family dynamics, grief, addiction, housing instability, and social pressures. Treatment begins with understanding the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms. At Janie’s Place, women receive care within a structured therapeutic housing environment where compassion and clear boundaries support safety, stability, and personal growth.
Her approach focuses on helping residents develop insight into the underlying causes of emotional distress while strengthening coping skills, self-awareness, and personal responsibility. Jennifer believes meaningful recovery develops through exploration, therapeutic support, and consistent structure rather than quick solutions.
Through Janie’s Place, Jennifer has created a community centered on dignity, connection, and healing. Her work supports women as they stabilize their mental health, rebuild confidence, and develop the foundation needed for long term recovery and independent living.
